The group meets at 4:14 on Sunday afternoons at Ascension. Currently we are studying the Gospel According to John. Beginning November 15 and using expert video and written study guides, the group begins a Christian analysis of Fyodor Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov. As a Christian, Dostoevsky, often debated the existence of God, the role of religion in modern societies, and the consequences of class differences on the individual through his fiction. Work hours will be approximately 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 7. Volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves and dress for a day of outdoor work.
